Business Manager

Business Manager - Morganton, NC (On-site | Full-Time) seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Manager to join our team in Morganton, NC. This full-time, on-site position plays a critical role in supporting a financial advisor or team of advisors by managing back‑office operations and ensuring a seamless client experience. Position Overview: The Business Manager acts as the operational support for a high-performing financial advisor or advisory team. This role requires a strong understanding of broker/dealer and RIA operations, including account opening procedures, asset movement, and identifying and resolving NIGOs (Not in Good Order items). The ideal candidate is a proactive self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to take ownership of key processes and client onboarding. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage operational workflows for brokerage and advisory accounts Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations Coordinate money and security/product movement securely and accurately Manage account paperwork, including new account setup and asset transfers Identify and resolve NIGOs (Not in Good Order) in a timely manner Accurately perform data entry and maintain client records Facilitate new client onboarding processes from start to finish Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes Collaborate with and support other internal operations teams Demonstrate leadership and ownership over key relationships and workflows Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Previous experience or strong interest in working in a broker/dealer or RIA environment Familiarity with money and security/product movement processes Understanding of account opening procedures for brokerage and advisory platforms High attention to detail and strong data entry skills Strong organizational and time‑management skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication abilities Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Proactive problem‑solver with a growth mindset Interest in obtaining Series 7 license Ability to work on‑site 5 days a week at our Morganton office Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
