Details Hospital-based Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF) unit located on the 9th floor with 28 patient beds within a 396-bed hospital Daily caseload averages 6.5 patient contact hours out of an 8-hour shift, with individual treatment sessions ranging from 30 to 60 minutes Day shift schedule, 5x8s from 8:00am to 4:30pm Occasional weekend shifts required No on-call requirements Primary assignment is Inpatient Rehab Program with potential to float to Acute Care based on census needs Uses Epic EMR for charting Requirements Current South Carolina SLP license required (if applicable) BLS and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) certifications required 2-3 years of experience as an SLP with Inpatient Rehab Facility experience required Experience with NMES (Vital Stim) and Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies required Must be willing to obtain and wear a radiation badge, provided by the agency Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers accepted with prior Inpatient Rehab Facility experience Scrub color requirement: Misty Grey (light grey/silver) No parking costs at this facility Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration Block scheduling requests may be accommodated but are not guaranteed During hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties American Traveler Job ID P-749186.
