Job Title Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Location Florence, SC Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Full-Time | 5x8-Hour Shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite | Occasional Weekend Requirement Key Responsibilities Provide speech-language pathology services within a hospital-based Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF), maintaining approximately 6.5 hours of patient contact time per 8-hour shift Manage a varied caseload with individual treatment sessions ranging from 30 to 60 minutes per patient Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies as part of dysphagia evaluation and treatment Administer Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES/VitalStim) therapy as clinically indicated Document all patient care accurately and timely using Epic electronic health records Float to acute care units as needed based on census fluctuations, while maintaining primary placement in the Inpatient Rehab Program Required Qualifications Current South Carolina state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (must be active prior to start) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proficiency in NMES (VitalStim) and Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) procedures Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience, with Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) experience required Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility location; local candidates are not accepted Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with Epic electronic health records charting system Prior travel therapy experience, though first-time travelers with IRF experience will be considered Familiarity with hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation environments and acute care settings Why Join Us Work within a dedicated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program in a large, well-established hospital setting with no parking costs Gain diverse clinical exposure through the opportunity to float between inpatient rehab and acute care based on facility needs Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775088.
