Audit Specialist

Creative Financial Staffing

CFS has partnered with a boutique professional services firm to hire an Audit Specialist . This is a hybrid work schedule - 2 days/week in their Lexington, MA office with occasional travel to client sites throughout North America .

Salary: $85,000-$120,000, depending on experience

Responsibilities of the Audit Specialist:

Perform audit fieldwork and compliance testing across key financial areas
Create detailed written reports documenting findings and recommending process enhancements
Heavy use of Excel
Frequent communication with clients and internal staff

Qualifications of the Audit Specialist:

Bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of accounting or audit experience in either public accounting or private industry
CPA or pursuit of certification preferred
Outstanding technical skills, including advanced Excel
Willingness to travel on occasion
