Position Valet Attendant (Full-Time) Location Banner Health - Peoria, AZ Pay $15.15/hr (no tip credit) + Cash tips averaging $5-$10 per hour Schedule Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm (Weekends off) Driver Requirements Driver's license required, minimum 2 years Referral and Sign-On Bonus Referral bonus $250 and sign-on bonus $100 after 60 days of employment Health Requirement Flu vaccination required for this healthcare location. Provided by the client. Exemptions reviewed with HR and client. Job Overview Valet Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. The first person clients see upon arrival and the last when they depart. A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are crucial. Responsibilities Park and retrieve cars efficiently and in a timely manner; greet all customers by name, attend to their needs, and establish rapport. Direct traffic to maintain a clean and organized flow. Work independently or under supervision as needed. Promote excellent customer relations and exceed expectations. Handle customer complaints in accordance with policies and procedures. Maintain and care for company-issued equipment. Assist with special assignments and projects as requested. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Charismatic, energetic, eager to help. Responsible and dependable. Must pass a background check. Effective under pressure; thrives in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication skills; proficient in reading, speaking, and writing English. Team player; open to diverse opinions and supports teammates. Good driver with a safe driving record; able to operate a manual transmission vehicle. Education High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Experience Strong customer service experience. Cash handling experience preferred. Parking industry experience preferred. Two years of driving experience with an active license required. Skills Professional and effective communication. Flexibility to work multiple facility locations. Ability to handle challenging and emotionally charged situations. Ability to work unsupervised and make independent decisions. Sense of urgency and timeliness. Excellent team building and interpersonal skills. Physical Demands Willingness to work in all weather conditions. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently.
