Position Overview

Investment Banking Analysts at Initio Capital support strategic financial and advisory initiatives , including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raises, and corporate restructurings . These roles often involve collaboration with senior bankers, finance teams, and cross-functional leadership to deliver data-driven insights, conduct due diligence, and prepare client-facing presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential M&A transactions, capital raises, and strategic investments

• Build and maintain financial, valuation, and operating models to support deal execution

• Conduct due diligence across financial, operational, and market dimensions

• Prepare pitch books, presentations, and analytical materials for senior management and clients

• Perform industry research, competitive benchmarking, and market mapping

• Assist with transaction structuring, negotiations, and post-deal integration planning

• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure seamless execution of transactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline

• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, and corporate finance concepts

• Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, FP&A, or private equity preferred but not required

• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

• Clear written and verbal communication abilities , with experience preparing professional presentations

• Strong interest in financial markets, strategic transactions, and investment opportunities
