Registered Nurse (RN) - OR - Operating Room - $17-19 per hour

Job Overview The OR Unit Coordinator is a full‑time, staff position at Barnes‑Jewish Hospital, a nationally recognized academic medical center. The Coordinator provides administrative support to the operating room (OR) suite, ensuring smooth operations, accurate documentation, and efficient patient flow. Employment Details Duration: Ongoing (full‑time, 40 hours per week) Schedule after orientation: Monday – Friday, 2:30pm – 11:30pm (1–2 holidays per year) Orientation (first six weeks): Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 6:00am – 6:30pm Benefit eligible Responsibilities Coordinate all human resources functions for the unit and ensure nursing staff has the proper paperwork. Work with management to maintain appropriate staffing levels on all OR areas. Staff any pod, providing breaks and lunches as needed. Coordinate surgical scheduling activities, directing and monitoring patient flow and maintaining patient schedules. Maintain and order inventory and supplies for the department. Provide clerical support for the department as necessary.
