EHS Coordinator/ HSE Coordinator

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an EHS Coordinator/ HSE Coordinator (Environmental Health and Safety) with our commercial real estate client in Atlanta, GA. This is a 4-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Schedule: M-F 7-3:30 (a little bit flexible) | Onsite

Description

As a Health, Safety and Environment Consultant, you will assist in the management of Environmental Health and Safety programs relative to a specific account or market area. This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities.

What You'll Do

• Assist with identifying what programs meet regulatory requirements and client needs.
• Evaluate existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes.
• Aid in maintaining specific plans, playbooks, and procedures for the assigned account or market area, making certain playbooks are current, complete, and implemented.
• Function as an Environmental Health and Safety resource to staff and internal customers.
• Observe opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing the quality of services.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Certifications as required by local government.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

• Overseeing from a safety perspective all of the operations of the data center

Must Have

• Must have some sort of electrical knowledge or experience

Nice to Have Skills

• Would expect that EHS people can train, would be able to run a CPR class, a first aid class- if they haven't done it that is okay but they need to be willing to do that. May need to travel for these classes, travel will be limited.
