About Us:
We are a busy, multi-practitioner Psychiatry and Counseling practice seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced Front Desk Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking skills and a friendly, professional demeanor to support both patients and providers in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism.
- Answer and direct telephone calls efficiently.
- Collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments.
- Process medical records and assist with documentation.
- Provide administrative support to physicians and clinicians.
- Assist with patient intake process
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a medical receptionist (required).
- 2+ years of customer service and computer skills (preferred).
- Experience in behavioral or mental health settings highly preferred.
- Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in medical office software and scheduling systems is a plus.
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 4:30 PM (consistent attendance required).
Dress Code: Business casual, maintaining a professional appearance.
Reliability is critical we need a team player who is dependable and punctual.
Work Location: Hybrid (some remote work available after fully trained). Occasional travel to our other locations (Towson, Olney, Frederick) as needed to provide coverage.
