Staffing Coordinator

Job Description Position: Staffing Coordinator (Temporary) Location: San Diego, CA 92111 Shift: 3:00 am–1:30 pm & 1:00 pm–11:30 pm (flexible between the two shifts) Estimated Duration: 7 months Pay: $25–$28 per hour Employment Type: Full‑time, Temporary. C2C is not available. Required Education High School Diploma or equivalent Required Experience 1–3 years of healthcare or hospital staffing office experience Familiarity with KP Schedule, API, and SOI systems 1–3 years of staff scheduling and customer service experience 1–2 years of Epic experience (preferred) 1–2 years of MS Office/Excel experience Role and Responsibilities Partner closely with Nurse Managers to secure seamless hospital coverage for last‑minute sick calls or no‑shows while strictly adhering to standard work protocols and union contract language. Operate in a high‑urgency, fast‑paced environment, making rapid decisions under pressure. Maintain exceptional communication skills, flexibility, and a strong commitment to customer service. Job Overview This dynamic role requires a quick‑witted, highly adaptable professional who thrives under significant pressure and tight time constraints.
