Job Description Minimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required. Job Title: ASL Paraprofessional Location: Lathrop, CA Description of Position: Associate's degree or passing score on ParaPro assessment, CPI training Experience in providing specialized support to students with significant medical and educational needs Co-teach lessons under the teacher's guidance, lead small groups or individual instruction, and facilitate class discussions. Supervise students in and out of the classroom, ensuring their safety and well-being. Attend students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs. Assist teachers and students with extracurricular activities and school functions. Perform clerical duties such as tracking student attendance, typing, filing, photocopying, and grading tests and homework. Ensure the upkeep of educational materials, equipment, and supplies. Track students' progress and prepare reports for parents.
