Location: Biddeford, ME

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00PM - 7:00AM (Nights)

Job Description: The Registered Respiratory Therapist will work in various departments including ICU, ER, and Nursery, with responsibilities that include treating pediatric patients in need of intubation and mechanical ventilation. The therapist will also participate in high-risk deliveries and be part of a resuscitation team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments to patients in the ICU and ER.
• Provide neonatal and pediatric support, including intubation and mechanical ventilation.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and participate in resuscitation efforts.
• Use and maintain various respiratory therapy equipment including Drager V500 and Hamilton T-1 ventilators.
• Document patient assessments and treatments within the EPIC documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Hold certifications in NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care settings, particularly in adult ICU and pediatric emergencies.
• Experience in Nursery and participation as part of the resuscitation team required.
