Job Description

Shorty Pants Lounge is the Lake’s go-to spot for Cajun flavors, live entertainment, and unbeatable waterfront dining. With a lively, high-energy atmosphere, we’re looking for a dependable Food Runner to help deliver dishes quickly and accurately, ensuring every guest enjoys the Shorty Pants experience from the moment their food hits the table.

What You’ll Do

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
Ensure plates are delivered with correct garnishes, sides, and temperatures
Assist servers by checking in with guests for basic needs (extra sauces, refills, etc.)
Communicate clearly with the kitchen and FOH staff to keep service flowing smoothly
Maintain cleanliness and organization in expo and service areas
Step in to support bussing and resetting tables when needed

Who You Are

Fast, reliable, and detail-oriented
Able to balance multiple plates and handle food carefully
Strong communicator who works well with both BOH and FOH teams
Energetic and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
Physically able to be on your feet for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs
