Setting: In-house Subacute Rehabilitation Facility

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide high-quality therapy services to residents, helping them improve mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and functional mobility interventions
• Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising PT
• Assist in modifying treatment interventions based on patient performance and goals
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercise programs and safety techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including OT, SLP, nursing, and physicians

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Nebraska PTA license (or eligibility)
• Experience in skilled nursing or subacute rehabilitation preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and as part of a team

Schedule:

• Per diem / PRN (as needed)
