Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with a strong emphasis on GCP Cloud Security to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, a deep understanding of cloud security principles, and a proven track record of delivering secure and scalable applications. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high quality software applications in alignment with business requirements.
• Implement and enforce GCP Cloud Security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and security.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities in applications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software development and cloud security.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to their professional growth.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in GCP Cloud Security, including IAM, VPC, and data encryption.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience with cloud native application development and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus).
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in software development with a focus on cloud security.
• Proven experience in leading software development projects and teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
