Our partner firm, AbitOs, is hiring a Tax Associate to join its team in Boca Raton, Florida. Position Summary We are seeking a Tax Associate to support the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, and international tax filings. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their technical tax knowledge, gain exposure to complex domestic and international matters, and build strong client relationships within a growing CPA firm. Key Responsibilities Prepare federal, state, and international tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. Prepare and assist with tax forms including 1040, 1120, 1065, 5471, 5472, FBAR, and related filings. Review client financial information and prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting workpapers. Assist with tax research, compliance, and client‑related projects. Communicate with clients to gather information, resolve questions, and support timely completion of engagements. Collaborate with Managers, Partners, and other team members while developing strong client and internal relationships. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree preferred. Understanding of accounting principles, including accrual and cash‑basis accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Strong analytical, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous public accounting or tax experience. Experience preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and/or international tax returns. Familiarity with UltraTax CS, CCH ProSystem, QuickBooks, and Practice CS. Exposure to international tax reporting, including Forms 5471, 5472, and FBAR. Compensation & Benefits The total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits.
