Job Description:

The Cath Lab Educator is accountable for providing educational expertise for Cath Lab services. As a recognized expert, the Cath Lab Educator acts as a mentor and resource to both the nursing and rad tech staff. It is the responsibility of this role to oversee the orientation and training for the department; develop, maintain and participate in the competence of quality patient care. The incumbent will work closely with department leadership in planning the needs of staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide educational expertise for Cath Lab services
• Act as a mentor and resource to nursing and rad tech staff
• Oversee orientation and training for the department
• Work closely with department leadership in planning staff needs

Requirements:

• Experience in critical care/procedural areas
• Educational experience
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• License to Submit: Yes
