Internship Overview Forward Global’s Washington, D.C. office seeks to hire an in‑person, full‑time Fall Intern to support its client and firm priorities. The intern will be responsible for various client‑facing projects and administrative functions and can participate in a range of public affairs and government relations tasks, social and traditional media relations, policy research, and report writing for clients worldwide. A successful intern will be outgoing and passionate about public policy and public affairs, possess excellent written communication skills, and be able to be detailed and concise. They will also have a baseline understanding of domestic and international government affairs processes, the workings of global traditional and online news platforms, and social media. Applicants should be detail‑oriented, supportive of team members at all levels, comfortable taking initiative in independent projects, and able to identify opportunities to contribute to client success. Great time‑management and the ability to meet deadlines are also required. Key Responsibilities Conduct client and firm‑driven research, reporting, and analysis on developments in public policy, news media, and industry publications. Provide coverage of congressional hearings and track legislation on clients’ key issues. Support Forward Global marketing initiatives, including events, newsletters, online activities, and policy insights. Qualifications Ability to work full‑time in‑person at our Georgetown office (preference for candidates able to commit to a full‑time internship). College undergraduate or graduate student. Strong organizational skills to tackle multiple priorities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within tight deadlines. Strong Office, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. Compensation & Benefits This internship is paid at $20.00 USD per hour, with a transportation stipend included. Interns will have the chance to work within a close‑knit group to advance professional development, expand research and writing skills, learn about media pitching, and engage in client‑facing communication.
