Medicaid Business Analyst

Working remotely, the full-time Medicaid Business Analyst will support the implementation of MMIS and Medicaid Pharmacy solutions by translating state and federal policies into system requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key responsibilities Act as the primary domain subject matter expert (SME), advising on business processes and regulatory impacts Lead collaborative requirements and design sessions, ensuring alignment with Medicaid policy and operational needs Support testing and operational readiness activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience with healthcare system implementations, specifically MMIS and Medicaid Pharmacy Strong knowledge of state and federal Medicaid policy, regulations, and program rules Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation Experience working in SDLC and Agile delivery environments
