Microsoft Intune Migration Engineer / Endpoint Management Specialist Duration: Contract Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid mostly remote, if need you have to visit onsite) Rate: $60 - 65/hr Key Responsibilities Lead and support migration of devices from legacy management tools (SCCM, GPO, third-party MDM) into Microsoft Intune Execute and manage Intune tenant-to-tenant migrations, including device re-enrollment, policy transfer, and identity alignment Design and implement Intune device configuration profiles, compliance policies, and conditional access policies Manage Autopilot deployments and zero-touch provisioning strategies Oversee application packaging and deployment via Intune (Win32, MSI, Microsoft Store apps) Ensure secure device posture through endpoint security policies, Defender integration, and compliance monitoring Collaborate with identity teams on Azure AD (Entra ID) integration, device joins (Azure AD Join / Hybrid Join), and conditional access Troubleshoot endpoint issues related to enrollment, policy conflicts, application deployment, and compliance failures Document migration strategies, runbooks, and operational procedures Support post-migration optimization and continuous improvement of endpoint management Required Experience 3‑5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager Proven experience with: Intune migrations (SCCM to Intune, co-management, or third-party MDM to Intune) Tenant‑to‑tenant Intune migrations (highly preferred) Strong understanding of: Azure AD / Entra ID, device identity, and authentication Conditional Access and compliance frameworks Experience with: Application packaging and deployment (Win32 apps, scripting) PowerShell for automation and troubleshooting Familiarity with endpoint security tools (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint preferred) MatchPoint Solutions provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
