As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you'll be given all the resources you need to provide exceptional care, while expanding your clinical skillset. You'll work in an environment that encourages full clinical autonomy, backed by the ability to tap into a hygiene mentor program.

Schedule

• Tuesday 7:30am-5:00pm
• Wednesday 7:30-7:00pm
• Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm
• Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

About Family Dental Care of Sycamore

• Join a 14-person team that thrives on collaboration, communication and community!
• Beautiful, state-of-the-art practice with 9 operatories, hosting 2 doctors and 4 hygienists throughout the week
• We're located just off DeKalb Ave between Dunkin Donuts and Giordano's

Patient Schedule

• Single column, average of 7 patients
• 60 minute prophys and recalls
• 60-90 minute SRPs
• 90 minute New Patient appointments

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and best dental care practices
• Perform periodontal charting and assessments
• Take digital x-rays and assist in diagnosing dental conditions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix
• Ensure a comfortable and positive patient experience
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care
• Stay current on best practices and advancements in dental hygiene

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Illinois
• Local Anesthesia and Nitrous certification
• New graduates and experienced hygienists welcome!
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Patient care experience and a passion for providing exceptional service
