Outpatient Dialysis Patient Care Technician

Schedule Overview: PCTs at Iron Mission Dialysis work full-time hours Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Shift times vary between the hours of 5am-7pm. Shift lengths are 8-12 hours scheduled in advance.

Locations: PCT needs to be able and willing to complete training over the first 3 months in St George 3-4 days/week. Post-Training hours would take place mostly in Cedar City, but PCT would be expected to sometimes float to other surrounding southern Utah clinics for coverage.

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
