Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manual Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team in Gastonia, NC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process by operating manual press brake machines to shape and form metal components with precision. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Set up and operate manual press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders to determine the correct bending sequences and tooling requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes and efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven experience as a manuel press brake operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
