Why Join Us Competitive Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Collegial Team Environment: Work alongside experienced attorneys who invest in each other's growth Diverse Practice Exposure: No two days look the same, with work spanning real estate, construction, business, and general civil matters Growth Opportunity: Real room to develop your practice and take on increased responsibility over time Established Reputation: Join a firm with over a decade of results and strong community recognition in the Phoenix market Job Details Key responsibilities and duties include: Manage a civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution, including real estate, construction, HOA, business, and personal injury matters Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other court documents Conduct depositions, appear at hearings, and handle all phases of motion practice in Arizona state court Represent clients at mediation, arbitration, and, when necessary, trial Conduct legal research and produce clear, well‑reasoned written analysis and memos Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk, and resolution options throughout the life of the matter Collaborate with firm partners and staff on complex or high‑stakes cases Manage deadlines and case timelines across an active docket with minimal supervision Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school and active, in‑good‑standing membership with the Arizona State Bar Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on Arizona state court practice Experience or strong background in real estate litigation, construction disputes, contract claims, or business disputes Proven ability to independently manage cases from filing through trial or resolution Comfortable with all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, and hearings Strong legal research and writing skills with attention to detail Ability to manage a busy docket, prioritize competing deadlines, and work with a degree of autonomy Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
