The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all Agency facilities. This role ensures timely maintenance, repair, and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment to support a safe and efficient environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Respond to repair requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all areas of the facility meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with agency policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or GED with 4 years maintenance or construction experience; AZ driver's license with clean driving record and be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess home telephone and reliable transportation.
• Ability to maintain landscaping.
• Ability to perform general electrical and plumbing work.
• Ability to maintain inventory and MSDS sheets of custodial supplies.
• Ability to operate basic shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to make minor repairs to basic shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
• Possess knowledge of general carpentry and state and city codes.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekend's on-call.
• Must obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance and pass a background check.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
