Controls Technician

Our client is seeking a Controls Technician to support automation systems including installations, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing controls systems. As a Controls Technician, you must have hands‑on experience in industrial automation and a strong understanding of electrical and control systems. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams, work under minimal supervision, and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization. This position will require up to 70% travel. Job Title: Controls Technician Location: Shelby Township, MI Pay Rate: Pay will be up to $40 (dependent on experience) Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, actuators, etc.). Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on automation equipment to minimize downtime. Assist in the programming and modification of PLCs (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and HMIs. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of control systems. Requirements Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field. 2+ years of experience in controls or automation environment. Proficiency with PLC systems (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, etc.). #J-18808-Ljbffr
