Maintenance Technician – Nights We are looking for a Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring equipment uptime through timely troubleshooting and repair of production equipment, facilities, and auxiliary systems. Responsibilities Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment. Repair equipment (fillers/cappers, blow molders, injection molders, labelers, conveyors, palletizers, stretch wrappers, chillers, air compressors, Reverse Osmosis, water filtration equipment, etc.) and fixtures. Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment according to company processes. Maintain industrial control systems. Work independently or with teammates to complete repairs safely and timely. Assume production operator duties as needed. Create and report repairs throughout the shift, completing required work‑order paperwork and documenting parts usage. Follow plant safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment. Maintain reliable attendance to support equipment and facility uptime. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience in a field or similar maintenance environment. Minimum 4 years in a similar maintenance position. Experience managing people or projects. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments. Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to read and interpret schematics (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic). Experience with shop equipment (hydraulic presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill, lathe, power tools). Proficient in precision measuring tools (calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, depth gauges). Willingness to act as a technical leader and trainer within a specific plant or machine center. Must bring own toolbox and basic tools. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 6 years of field or manufacturing maintenance experience. Experience in high‑speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries. Experience with VFD, servo drives, and servo motors. Familiarity with rotary equipment (rotary press, filler). Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, or plastics processing. Experience with Krones, Sidel, or Husky equipment, HVAC including chillers and air compressors. Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics for troubleshooting. Fabrication skills (cutting, welding MIG/TIG/stick). Experience with 480 VAC & 24 VDC power, PLC, communication systems (ASi‑bus, CAN‑bus, Profi‑bus, Ethernet), safety modules. Empower and develop oneself and others. Education & Certifications High School Diploma required. Associate’s Degree in manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, automation, or similar preferred. No specific certifications required.
