Senior Professional Application Designer [Remote]

Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and document batch application programs.
- Support full lifecycle development processes for enterprise services.
- Analyze existing systems, program requirements, and time requirements to enhance or modify applications.
- Design programs for new initiatives or enhancements to existing systems.
- Write technical specifications for low to moderate complexity programs.
- Assist in resolving production support issues and recommend alternative technical solutions.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate new or modified programs.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including program code documentation.
- Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer code reviews.
- Support batch job automation, scheduling, and notification services.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide production support as required.
Skills:
- Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and document batch application programs.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6–12 years of experience in application development, configuration, design, or integration.
- Strong experience with C, Unix/Linux, and Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
- Experience supporting batch processing systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
