This position is responsible for overseeing and maintaining a clean and presentable appearance of assigned apartments, health center and common areas and the day-to-day operation of the Environmental Services Department.Primary Responsibilities:Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, hallways and common areas, such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all clear flat surfaces.Follow up on resident concerns on the same day with a plan of resolution.Submit any required work orders to the Maintenance department.Conduct performance reviews on time for assigned Environmental Service employeesMaintain required records and reports.Coordinate annual apartment cleanings with DirectorCoordinate the daily and holiday schedule for all apartment cleaning and special project cleaning.Maintain monthly inventory and assist supervisor with needed supplies.Maintain organization of storage closetsAssist in identifying training opportunities for housekeeping staff.Train new employees.Assist with office duties as assigned.Promote teamwork and a cooperative atmosphere among housekeeping staff.Qualifications:Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.May be required to work weekendsMust be able to move throughout the building and grounds as needed throughout the dayPrevious housekeeping experience in a lead position is preferred.Must be able to lift to 30 lbs.Good visual and hearing acuity required;Good verbal communication skills required.Must be able to see, hear and effectively communicate with residents and staff.Be ready to work and greet everyone with a smile!!!If you're an enthusiastic, compassionate, senior care professional who is passionate about hospitality and senior engagement- please apply, we'd love to get to know you!
