Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with acute care vent experience for a Level 2B nursery, MICU, and Med/Surg hospital setting on night shift.

Job Details

• Hospital setting with 371 licensed beds including 220 Med/Surg beds, MICU, ED, Labor and Delivery, and Level 2B Nursery,
• 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week,
• Night shift schedule with straight nights (19:00-07:30),
• Every other weekend (EOW) required,
• Uses EPIC EMR for charting,
• Staffing ratio includes 4 Respiratory Therapists on Night shift,
• Utilizes PB980 Ventilator and Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilator,
• Day shift positions may rotate to 11a-11p when needed,

Job Requirements

• , or Bree Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy,
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in one location,
• 1 to 2 years of experience working as a Traveler,
• Vent experience required in an acute care setting,
• Ability to draw arterial blood gases,
• RRT certification required,
• Active MA Respiratory Therapist license required (license required if applicable),
• BLS certification required (AHA only accepted at this facility),
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed,

• Day shift team includes 1 Charge Respiratory Therapist, 2 assigned to a 20-bed ICU, and 2 assigned to Med/Surg floors,
• Local candidates permitted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston, MA
