Sundays - Thursdays. Assist in providing maintenance necessary for the care of facility, creating a pleasant and comfortable physical environment for residents, employees, and general public. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with or in the field of electrical repair, boiler maintenance, painter, construction, plumbing, and groundskeeper preferred. Must be available to work other than normal hours as needed and be able to assume pager responsibilities. Driver’s License Regular attendance is required. Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. Physical Requirements Walking: 3-7 hours/day Lifting: Over 50 lbs with good body mechanics or 25-50 lbs with improper mechanics Twisting: Moderate: 121-480 twists/day (480 based upon 1 twist per minute) Bending: Moderate bending: 121-480 bends/day (480 based on 1 bend/minute) Squat/Kneel: 3-7 hours/day Endurance: Heavy energy requirements (7-9 mets) Assist with snow removal on the property as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community
