Full-Time | Monday–Thursday | 4-Day Workweek
$28–$35/hour, depending on experience

Complete Dentistry is looking for an experienced and clinically confident Dental Assistant to join our privately owned general dental practice in Edmonds.

This is not an entry-level position . We are specifically looking for someone with 3+ years of dental assisting experience who is comfortable taking efficient diagnostic X-rays, fabricating temporary crowns, scanning crown preparations, packing retraction cord, placing matrix systems, and assisting confidently with restorative dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient chairside assistance for restorative procedures, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, implants, and general dentistry
• Take accurate and efficient digital radiographs
• Perform intraoral scans for crown preparations
• Fabricate well-fitting temporary crowns
• Pack retraction cord
• Place matrix bands, sectional matrices, wedges, and matrix rings as directed by the dentist
• Assist with permanent crown insertion and cementation
• Anticipate the doctor's needs during procedures
• Set up and turn over treatment rooms efficiently
• Follow proper sterilization and infection-control procedures
• Maintain organized treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies
• Accurately enter clinical notes and treatment information
• Provide postoperative instructions and help patients feel comfortable
• Take initiative and support the clinical team as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience
• Strong general dentistry chairside assisting skills
• Ability to take digital radiographs accurately and efficiently
• Experience fabricating temporary crowns
• Experience scanning crown preparations
• Experience packing retraction cord
• Experience with sectional matrix systems
• Ability to anticipate the doctor's needs without constant direction
• Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection control
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
• Current Washington credentials and certifications required for the position
• Available to work our full Monday–Thursday schedule

Additional Experience We Value

Experience with implants, surgical extractions, endodontics, permanent crown delivery, advanced restorative procedures, Open Dental, or digital dentistry is a plus.

Schedule

Full-Time | Monday–Thursday

• Monday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Tuesday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Friday–Sunday: Off

Compensation

$28–$35 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated clinical skills.

Candidates at the upper end of the range should be able to confidently perform most or all of the listed clinical responsibilities with minimal training.
