Customer Account Specialist

- Order & Project Management: Handle customer orders, changes, and cancellations via phone and electronic channels. Oversee large-scale customer projects, proactively tracking and expediting open orders to meet critical timelines.
- Negotiation & Vendor Sourcing: Use your judgment to negotiate pricing, discounts, and shipping terms to maximize profit margins. Research and collaborate with external vendors to source non-stock products.
- Customer Support & Problem Solving: Provide technical product support and resolve customer non-conformances with immediate containment actions.
- Inside Sales & Collaboration: Identify strategic up-selling and add-on opportunities. Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Materials Management, and Outside Sales to manage inventory and ensure accurate billing.

- Order & Project Management: Manages orders, changes, and cancellations across various communication channels. Oversees large-scale projects, utilizing system reports to track and expedite open orders against customer timelines.
- Pricing & Vendor Negotiation: Uses discretion to negotiate pricing, margins, discounts, and shipping terms to maximize profitability. Researches and negotiates directly with external vendors for non-stock items.
- Customer Support & Issue Resolution: Provides technical product support, tracking information, and expedited shipping solutions. Analyzes customer non-conformances and initiates immediate containment actions.
- Sales Growth: Identifies up-selling and add-on opportunities, and suggests alternative products when requested items are unavailable.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners with Operations, Finance, Materials Management, and Outside Sales to maintain adequate inventory levels and ensure accurate billing.
- Compliance & Training: Attends vendor-provided product and system training, supports regional quality initiatives, and adheres strictly to safety policies.
