Quick Facts: Location: Summerville Medical Center, 295 Midland Parkway, Summerville, SC 29485 Start Date: 08/29/2026 End Date: Multiple available dates including 09/12-09/18, 10/10-10/16 Shift: 24-hour shifts, with rounding plus call from home/hotel Hours/Week: Variable based on schedule Employment Type: Per diem Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified Neonatologist required Experience: Prior NICU experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $3,120.00 (flat rate for 24-hour shifts, including rounding and call) Pay Package: Competitive hourly pay with holiday differential at 1.25x Benefits include: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time compliant with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and miscellaneous reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team support throughout your assignment What You’ll Do: Provide neonatal intensive care to critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU with an ADC of 14 Collaborate with multidisciplinary team, including Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and OB staff with MFM support Perform neonatal assessments, stabilize patients, and deliver advanced care Participate in patient rounds, family consultations, and emergent interventions Ensure compliance with hospital policies and clinical standards Document patient care accurately and efficiently in medical records What You Need: Active South Carolina Medical License and Neonatology certification Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience preferred Excellent clinical and communication skills -Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team About the Assignment: This assignment is based at Summerville Medical Center, a well-regarded hospital providing high-quality neonatal care.
