Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Telemetry Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required License: State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: - BLS - AHA - ACLS - NIHSS - Tele Certification Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry experience required - ASN from an accredited school of nursing Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patients' needs. Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments. Initiates assessment based on patients' problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. Performs therapeutic nursing interventions. Manages the care of patients. Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
