Maintenance MechanicGolden State Foods – Conyers, GA Full-time | Food Manufacturing | 2nd ShiftAbout The RoleWe’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support day-to-day operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial food production equipment. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that equipment remains operational, safe, and compliant to support high-speed packaging and processing functions.What You’ll Be DoingMechanical & Electrical MaintenanceInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment and support systemsRespond quickly to breakdowns and equipment failuresPerform repairs using power tools, welding equipment, test meters, and hand toolsWork with PLCs, motor circuits, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and electrical controlsDismantle, inspect, and replace parts on packaging lines, conveyors, and pumpsPreventative Maintenance & Safety ComplianceExecute preventive maintenance per schedule using schematics, blueprints, or technical manualsMaintain detailed records of repairs and completed work ordersAdhere to OSHA safety guidelines, Lockout/Tagout, and all GSF food safety protocolsAssist fellow mechanics with heavy equipment or complex repairsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shopPay & BenefitsPay Rate: $32/hour base Incentive Pay: Earn up to an additional $10.38/hour by completing job-related skills assessments within the first 90 days.
