Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent equipment services provider, is seeking an experienced Equipment Associate to join its team. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for a dependable candidate with warehouse and forklift experience.


Equipment Associate Job Summary:


Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour


Schedule:


Monday-Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.


One-hour lunch break


Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

• Load and unload trucks and trailers using a 5,000-lb.-capacity warehouse forklift
• Complete the company's required internal forklift certification
• Pull tools and equipment from shelves for UPS and freight shipments
• Box, palletize, band, and wrap tools and equipment for shipping
• Receive and process incoming deliveries
• Unbox or remove equipment from pallets
• Document equipment unit numbers for transfer receiving
• Tag equipment and place it in the appropriate shop or yard location
• Assist technicians with repairs when an additional person is needed
• Assist with simple equipment check-ins that do not require repairs
• Follow all shop, yard, equipment, and workplace safety procedures

Equipment Associate Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse forklift experience is required
• Must complete the company's internal forklift certification, regardless of any current certification
• Experience with air, electric, or mechanical tools is preferred but not required
• Must be able to safely work in a shop and outdoor yard environment
• Must be able to follow shipping, receiving, and inventory procedures
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions
• Lifting assistance must be used for items weighing more than 40 lbs.

Dress Code and Safety Requirements:

• Uniform shirts and required personal protective equipment will be provided
• Long work pants are required
• Jeans are not permitted
• Lace-up steel-toe boots are required

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity:


This position may become permanent for the right candidate after successfully meeting the applicable conversion requirements.
