Events Assistant

Assistant for Meeting and Events Team

Our Meeting and Events team is seeking a full-time Assistant to support the group with event preparation! This Cincinnati, office-based employee will coordinate meeting activities between the management team and meeting attendees while working closely with the Meeting and Event Services Manager and Coordinators at Medpace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department specific trackers, calendars, and templates
• Support meeting preparation activities (in-house printing, packing lists, print orders, etc.)
• Support attendee registration management activities – Verify information, contact attendees as appropriate, ensure proper communication to all attendees, etc.
• Provide first level quality review for all meeting databases (hotel, print, ground transportation, travel, etc.)
• Track venue proposals and contact representatives for additional details
• Compile, maintain, and verify accuracy of all expenses

Qualifications

• Preferred 1-2 years experience in a business environment and/or administrative support role (open to new college graduates)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Preferred experience with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• High attention to detail
• Strong multitasking ability
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidential data
