You bring a balance of technical depth, project ownership, and people leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required, Master’s degree preferred Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (multi‑state reciprocity preferred) Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, permitting, and construction practices Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams in dynamic environments Experience 12+ years of experience in civil engineering Proficient with the development of design and construction documents for infrastructure projects Proven experience with regulatory requirements and permitting associated with infrastructure projects Background in electric transmission or similar infrastructure projects preferred Experience using engineering and project tools such as AutoCAD, Hydrology, Hydraulic, Stormwater Management and Project Management software Technical Responsibilities Serve as a trusted technical advisor, applying advanced engineering concepts to complex challenges Evaluate and implement innovative methods, tools, and processes Analyze projects from a systems perspective with a focus on sustainability and long‑term performance Stay current on evolving engineering practices and recommend improvements Management, Supervision, and Guidance Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, designers, and drafters Assign work, manage performance, and foster continuous learning Provide coaching that builds technical capability and professional growth Promote a culture of curiosity, accountability, and collaboration Communication, Teamwork, and Leadership Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal partners Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences Lead with influence—bringing teams together to solve complex challenges Represent your discipline in cross‑functional initiatives and strategic discussions Why GAI?
