Position Summary The Human Resources Generalist supports daily HR operations in a fast-paced automotive dealership, including employee data entry, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and recruiting. This role serves as a key resource for employees and management while helping ensure efficient processes and a positive workplace environment. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire setup, orientations, exit procedures, and documentation Manage employee enrollments for health insurance coverage Manage unemployment claims and workers’ compensation cases Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviewing Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Answer employee questions regarding pay, benefits, or policies Provide general administrative support to the HR function and dealership leadership as needed Requirements 4+ years of Human Resources experience Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus Compensation & Benefits 50,000 - 60,000 annually Medical, dental, and vision insurance Ancillary benefit options Retirement plan Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays Salary Description 50,000 - 60,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
