• Ability to take a patient assignment
• Knowledge of the 5 rights of medication administration
• Capability to provide wound care as per order
• Proficient in documentation according to hospital policy
• Skills to perform admissions and discharges according to orders
• Strong critical thinking skills

Description: Registered Nurse who can take a patient assignment. Must follow the 5 rights of medication administration. Responsible for providing wound care per order. Documents according to hospital policy. Performs admissions and discharges according to orders. Requires critical thinking skills. This is a telemetry unit where continuous vital sign monitoring is performed. Nurses will complete competency during orientation for telemetry monitoring. The focus is on geriatric patients, emphasizing all aspects of their care. Quality of life in and out of hospitals is a priority. Age-friendly rounds will be conducted to focus on patients aged 65 and older.
