Transportation Specialist

Job Details Position: Transportation Specialist Location: Doonan-Drake Residence, 300 East 18th St, Brooklyn, NY 11226 Position Type: Full-Time Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent Salary Range: $22.50 - $22.50 hourly Travel Percentage: Up to 75% Job Shift: Day Responsibilities Coordinate transportation including organizing destinations, physically escorting, and supervising clients while in transit to scheduled or emergency appointments. Maintain a daily roster of times, dates, destinations, transporters, and transport lengths. Maintain notebooks – inspecting logs for completion and accuracy. Secure vehicles and keys, including securing gas cards and obtaining receipts in accordance with policy. Report vehicle needs and damages to maintenance and track all repair issues. Ensure daily cleanliness and upkeep of all vehicles, inspecting for cleanliness, damage, proper equipment, and safe operation. Ensure vehicles are properly fueled. Supervise and transport clients which requires prolonged periods of walking, standing, physical agility, run or climb flights of stairs, lift or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally more than 100 pounds. Qualifications A valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience. Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications. Time management and organizational skills to stay on schedule. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients. Ability to travel within the five boroughs of NYC, Long Island, and Westchester. Physical capability to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.
