About the Role: Innovation Policy Manager

As an Innovation Policy Manager, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between groundbreaking technology and public policy, shaping the future landscape of AI, wearables, and VR. This is a unique opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, build crucial partnerships, and champion the positive economic and social impact of cutting-edge technologies on a global scale. What You'll Do:

• Lead immersive demonstrations, providing policy audiences with hands-on experiences with AI solutions, wearables, virtual reality, and other cutting-edge technologies.
• Design, create, develop, and execute various innovation policy experiences and events to educate and inform critical policy stakeholders.
• Develop strategic outreach programs and policy campaigns to advocate for the economic and social value of AI innovation.
• Cultivate policy partnerships with diverse innovation stakeholders, including AI developers, and design initiatives to build community and enhance outreach capabilities.
• Support engagement with policymakers, trade associations, industry partners, key opinion formers, and non-profit groups to contribute to the public discussion on the value of innovative technologies.
• Collaborate extensively with internal cross-functional teams, including policy, product, marketing, partnerships, and legal teams, to build and drive programs and campaigns that demonstrate the value of AI innovation.
• Build coalitions with other organizations to advance the company's policy goals and objectives.
• Develop and project manage innovative policy programs and campaigns, including those for new AI products.
• Independently manage smaller advocacy campaigns or collaborate on the management of larger campaigns, serving as a primary client lead in some instances.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders to champion AI innovation.

What You'll Bring:


Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, law, political science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in policy or legal roles, with a dedicated focus on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual/Augmented Reality (AR or VR), autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, or biotechnology.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with AI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in any of the following areas: AI technologies, wearables, VR, policy programs and campaigns, security, privacy, integrity, competition, and the surrounding policy environments.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AI, open-source innovation, wearables, and VR.
• Proven policy stakeholder engagement experience.
• Experience in developing and executing policy programs and campaigns.
