About the Job We are searching for qualified customer service representatives with personality and people skills. Opportunities exist to grow into management roles, franchise ownership, or other business positions within the company. Responsibilities Operate all store equipment. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare products and assemble orders. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facility, performing daily cleaning tasks. Orient and train new staff on the job. Comprehend and communicate written instructions accurately. Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders by phone or in‑person. Perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) quickly and accurately; use calculator when needed. Make correct monetary change. Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Demonstrate motor coordination between eyes and hands for rapid, accurate, precise movements. Qualifications Must be 16 years of age or older. Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, team‑based environment. Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures can range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas. Sudden temperature changes while working indoors or outdoors. Fumes from food odors and exposure to corn‑meal dust. Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools can reach up to 500°F or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Sensing Telephonic talking and hearing. Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks. Depth perception. Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical Requirements Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking: For short distances and short durations. Surfaces include ceramic tile, bricks, and linoleum. Work surfaces are 36"‑48" high. Sitting: Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table. Lifting: Bulk product deliveries are unloaded by hand truck. Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Carrying: Large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz) and sometimes pizza sauce (≈30 lb) are carried from workstation to storage. Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time, weighing ≈12 lb each. Pushing: Trays on dollies (24" – 30") require up to 7.5 lb force to push. Climbing: Occasionally navigate stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks. Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at waist for pizza assembly, front counter, and stocking. Duration is 30 – 45 s per cycle, repeated throughout the day. Crouching/Squatting: Occasional for stocking shelves and cleaning low areas. Reaching: Continuous reach up, down, and forward. Over‑head reach may exceed 72" for oven controls or price changes. Downward reach for spearing corn‑meal or dishwashing. Forward reach for toppings, cleaning, or phone handling. Hand Tasks: Continuous eye‑hand coordination required. Frequent use of hands, forearms, wrists, pizza peel, rolling cutter, and pizza boxes.
