Audit Supervisor | Uniform Guidance | Up to $140K

We are partnering with an established public accounting firm on an Audit Supervisor opportunity focused on Uniform Guidance and compliance audits. This is a great opportunity for an experienced auditor who enjoys managing engagements, working directly with clients, and providing guidance to junior team members. For-profit audit experience is also a plus. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of current public accounting experience, including meaningful Uniform Guidance experience, and the ability to take ownership of audit engagements from planning through completion.

What You'll Do

• Lead Uniform Guidance and compliance audit engagements from planning through completion
• Oversee audit planning, fieldwork, testing, documentation, and reporting
• Assess compliance and evaluate financial and accounting records
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients
• Review work performed by staff and provide coaching and technical guidance
• Assist with for-profit audit engagements and other assurance work as needed
• Work with clients to identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Assist partners and managers with complex assurance and consulting engagements
• Manage engagement timelines, priorities, and multiple projects

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of current public accounting experience
• Strong Uniform Guidance and compliance audit experience
• CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification
• For-profit audit experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of audit and accounting principles
• Excellent client communication and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
• Experience training, mentoring, and coaching staff
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work primarily in office (4-5x a week in Chicago)

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $150K base salary, depending on experience
