Job Description: The Summer Meal Coordinator will support the operations of the O'Connor Center for Community Engagement in leading food security initiatives throughout the summer months for residential and local students. The successful candidate will survey food needs of the summer population; plan, cook, and serve communal meals twice a week; and assist with shopping and inventory control. The Summer Student Staff Assistant Summer Meal Coordinator will: Coordinate community dinners twice a week for summer students- responsible for overseeing the menu planning, cooking, serving, and clean up Assisting with shopping for meals as available Coordinate "Dinner's Ready" meals with village residents and recruit summer residential students to participate Requirements: Organized and responsible with ability to self-direct Professional attitude, flexibility, creativity Interest in food, cooking, and community building Additional Information: Wage:$16.00/hr Approximately 4-8 hours a week Beginning mid-late May or early June (flexible), and continuing into August. #J-18808-Ljbffr SUNY Delhi
