Registered Nurse - Stepdown Neuro Unit

Location: Cleveland, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (3x12-Hour shifts)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Stepdown Neuro Unit. The ideal candidate must have at least 12 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty they are applying for. Experience in Progressive Care Units (PCU) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Stepdown Neuro Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have 12 months of permanent experience as a Registered Nurse in the specialty applying for.
• Valid Ohio license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS – all must be active at the time of submission.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
