This position is scheduled for Fridays only, offering a focused weekly commitment ideal for those seeking additional flexibility or supplemental work. You’ll serve one school’s health room, providing care, education, and support for a diverse range of student health needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Kansas RN or LPN licensure
• Experience in school, pediatric, or community health settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding student well-being
• Ability to handle emergencies and administer medications following school policies

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid, medication, and chronic illness management for K-12 students
• Conduct health screenings and document findings in student records
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support health plans
• Maintain confidentiality while addressing student health concerns
• Educate students and staff on preventative health measures
