Two skilled RN professionals are needed to make a positive impact at an elementary school near Kansas City, KS—one to serve as a dedicated 1:1 nurse for a student requiring tracheostomy and ventilator care, and another RN to offer clinical support as a classroom nurse.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
• For the 1:1 position: Proven trach and ventilator training and ability to respond confidently to complex medical needs
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong assessment and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care following individual health plans
• Administer medications and manage complex health procedures during the school day
• Support educational staff on health-related issues and emergency protocols
• Foster a safe, healthy learning atmosphere by monitoring ongoing student well-being
• Communicate with families and healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care
