Little Cub Academy is a family-owned child care center proudly serving the Mukwonago community. What You'll DoTeacher Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, nurturing care to support each child’s overall well-being
- Plan and implement engaging weekly lesson plans that promote learning and development
- Build strong, positive relationships with families and collaborate to support each child’s needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Foster independence by guiding children in developing self-help and life skills
Teacher Requirements:
- Demonstrates a nurturing, patient, and caring approach when working with children
- Works collaboratively as a positive and reliable team member
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, grow, and participate in ongoing professional development
- Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Must meet required health screening standards
- Completion of required child care coursework, including Introduction to the Child Care Profession and Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher
- Prior experience working in an early childhood program preferred
We are looking for a passionate educator with experience creating fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lesson plans for 3- and 4-year-olds. The ideal candidate understands the unique needs of this age group and enjoys supporting their growth through play and learning. Teacher certification or licensing is a plus!
